Fitness is made up of five main components which are cardio respiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility. Cardio respiratory endurance is the ability of the body’s circulatory and respiratory systems to supply fuel during sustained physical activity. Muscular strength is the ability of the muscle to exert force during an activity. Muscular endurance is the ability of the muscle to continue to perform without fatigue. Body composition refers to the relative amount of muscle and other vital parts of the body. Flexibility is the range of motion around a joint.

This five components affect the daily life of people by exercising and improving their health. Cardio-respiratory endurance increases the efficiency which the  body delivers oxygen and nutrients to its cells. It also improves the muscles and helps the joints move through a full range of motion. All of the daily life requires muscular strength by getting out of bed, walking, climbing up the stairs, and carry a bag of groceries or something. Increasing the muscular endurance will make every day chores and tasks easier. Muscular endurance can help people by doing more reps with lighter weights. Improving and maintaining the body composition at healthy levels will reduce the risk of having heart diseases. Some essential exercises that people should improve on are push-ups, burpees, the lunge jump, and weighted squats. Flexibility makes the activities of daily living such as bending, turning, and lifting easier to perform.

By not practicing the five related components it would affect our health in many negative ways. If we don’t practice cardio-respiratory endurance we won’t be in a good shape. If we don’t do any activities that include muscular strength we won’t be as strong and if we stop doing muscular endurance we won’t be able to do as many push-ups. Body composition will affect us if we stop practicing it because if we don’t watch what we eat it will falter. Activities that don’t include flexibility will affect us because by not being able to bend over or any other activities. If we don’t stretch before playing a sport we might stretch a muscle.
