The San Diego Padres and LA Dodgers faced off in game two of the MLB NLDS playoffs. The game was fairly one sided in favor of the Padres, much to the dismay of Dodgers fans in the stadium. The game ended in a 10-2 victory for the Padres leaving many Dodgers fans disappointed. These feelings were brewing during the game and around the middle of the game they boiled over. A fan in the outfield stands threw a baseball at a Padres player.
The incident understandably upset the team and a huge commotion occured. The player targeted was left fielder Jurickson Profar. After the incident, his team convened to keep their emotions in check and their head in the game.
Fans of Padres were understandably upset, taking to social media to express their anger at Dodgers fans. Dodgers fans have been relatively silent over the whole thing. However the sentiment remains that the incident was one off and didn’t pose a serious threat to players.
This drama hasn’t taken away from the excitement of the playoffs so lets focus on the series!
